Whipped Lingonberry Porridge (Vispipuuro) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 liter water
300 ml lingonberries
150 ml sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
200 ml semolina or 7/8 cup semolina
Preparation

Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
Mash the lingonberries and add them to the saucepan together with the sugar and salt.
Boil for approximately 10 minutes.
Strain the liquid and pour it back into the saucepan.
Add the semolina, stir well and cook at a low heat for 15 more minutes.
Set aside to cool. When the porridge has cooled, pour it into a mixing bowl and whip it with a hand mixer, until light.
Serve with sugar and milk.
