Cheesy Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lbs frozen hash browns, thawed & drained (I like the Southern Style)
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon ground black pepper
    1/4 cup finely sliced green onion
    2 cups sour cream
    2 cups grated cheddar cheese
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    any of the following toppings
    cracker crumbs or grated cheese
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together well in large mixing bowl. If too dry add a little cream or milk.
    Spread evenly into a greased baking dish and sprinkle with topping.
    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 1 hours.
