Garlic Shrimp Linguine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    9 ounces fresh linguine
    3 tablespoons olive oil
    2 tablespoons butter
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    3 tablespoons minced shallots
    1 cup bottled clam juice
    1/3 cup dry white wine
    1 lb medium shrimp, shelled and deveined
    1/2 cup chopped parsley
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Cook pasta. Drain.
    In large skillet, heat butter and oil. Add garlic, shallots, clam juice and wine. Raise heat to medium high and boil uncovered until sauce is slightly reduced, about 3 minutes.
    Add shrimp, reduce heat to medium, and cook until pink and opaque. Stir in parsley and pepper. Toss pasta with sauce.
