Balsamic Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 teaspoon dried basil
Preparation

Heat oil in heavy large saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add onion and garlic and saute until soft.
Stir in tomatoes, balsamic vinegar, wine, and basil.
Simmer 15 minutes.
