Crockpot Iced Chai Tea - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 quarts water
    8 (1/2 ounce) bags black tea
    3/4 cup sugar
    16 whole cloves
    16 cardamom seeds, whole pods removed (optional)
    5 cinnamon sticks
    8 slices fresh ginger
    1 cup milk
Preparation
    Combine all but milk in crock pot.
    Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.
    Strain chai into pitcher.
    Refrigerate until cold.
    Add milk to individual cups.
