Slow Cooker Apple Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 medium apples (8 cups)
120 ml apple juice, cider or 120 ml water
15 ml ground cinnamon
60 ml brown sugar (optional) or 60 ml maple syrup (optional)
Preparation

Peel, core and slice apples. Combine with the other ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours.
Stir for a chunkier texture or puree for a smooth sauce. Serve warm or cold.
