Easy Cheesy Cottage Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 ounce) bag southern style hash browns
    1 cup sour cream
    2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
    1 onion, diced
    1/4 cup butter
    1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
    0.5 (10 1/2 ounce) bag barbecue potato chips
Preparation
    Sautee onions until crisp-tender.
    Place potatoes, sour cream, cheddar, onion, soup and 1/2 of butter in baking dish. Stir thoroughly to combine.
    Crumble barbecue chips and sprinkle on top of casserole halfway through baking time.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0F.
