Chinese Coca-Cola Wings Or Ribs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup brown sugar
    1 (12 ounce) can Coca-Cola
    1/4 cup dry sherry or 1/4 cup chinese rice wine
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 garlic cloves, minced
    2 scallions, chopped finely
    2 tablespoons soy sauce
    salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
    2 1/2 lbs chicken wings (if previously frozen, allow to thaw overnight in refrigerator) or 2 1/2 lbs ribs (if previously frozen, allow to thaw overnight in refrigerator)
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except chicken or ribs in a large bowl.
    Mix in the chicken or ribs and coat with marinade. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
    When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
    Lay out the chicken or ribs on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.
    Bake for 2 hours. Serve immediately.
