The Great Kiwi Mince Pie Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    600 g beef mince
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 carrots, diced
    2 stalks celery, diced
    2 tablespoons tomato paste
    1 teaspoon thyme
    1 teaspoon oregano
    3 cups beef stock
    1 1/4 ounces mushroom soup mix (dry kind)
    2 teaspoons cornflour
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Brown mince in a heavy saucepan in a little oil.
    Add vegetables, herbs, stock and simmer for 1 hour.
    Mi together the soup mix and cornflower with 1 cup of water and add to the mince, simmer for 20 minutes.
    Season to taste and then cool.
