Sausage Quiche - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb roll of pork sausage
    1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
    1 unbaked prepared 9 inch pie shell
    1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
    4 eggs
    1 cup half-and-half
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0F
    Cook and crumble sausage and onion until sausage is browned.
    Cover bottom of pie crust with mixture and top with cheese.
    In medium mixing bowl. Beat eggs and add half and half, salt and pepper.
    Pour over sausage mixture.
    Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 350 F and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes then cut into wedges.
