Root Beer Bbq Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 quart good quality root beer
    1 cup ketchup
    1/2 teaspoon grated lemon zest
    1/4 cup lemon juice (to taste)
    1/4 cup orange juice
    2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    1 1/2 tablespoons light brown sugar (to taste)
    1 tablespoon molasses
    2 cloves
    1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    1/8 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Preparation
    Begin by reducing the root beer in a saucepan over high heat until liquid is 1/4 of its original volumn, 8-10 minutes. Allow to cool, then combine all of the ingredients in the saucepan. Gradually bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and gently simmer the sauce until thick and richly flavored, 10 to 15 minutes.
