Indian Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 gallon milk
    1 cup sugar
    1/2 cup rice
    1 pinch cardamom (for taste)
Preparation
    In a large pot add the milk and rice.
    Heat on low until thick (1-2 hours).
    Stir every now and then.
    Add the sugar and a pinch of cardamom.
    Stir.
