Garlic Lover'S Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb cavatappi pasta (or other stout pasta variety)
    1 1/2 cups sweet peas
    1 -2 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped (optional)
    1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
    1/2 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
    2 teaspoons dried thyme
    1/2 tablespoon dried oregano
    1/2 teaspoon garlic paste (optional)
    1 tablespoon garlic, minced (or to taste)
    1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded (use about 2/3rds as much grated parmesan if that's all that's available, it packs tighter)
    2/3 cup 2% low-fat milk
    2/3 cup mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cook pasta per instructions until al dente.
    In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients.
    Let chill in an airtight container in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
