Scalloped Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 cups sliced carrots
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (10 1/2 ounce) can cream of celery soup
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 cup diced cheese
    herbed croutons
    3 tablespoons butter
Preparation
    Cook carrots until fork tender, drain.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Put croutons on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes, until croutons are browned.
