Hard Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 cup Karo light corn syrup
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
Preparation

Heat sugar, water and Karo to 290 degrees.
Remove from heat, add flavoring and food coloring.
Drizzle in thin rows onto cookie sheets lined with foil and covered with sifted confectioners' sugar.
Cool.
Crack to size and store in covered container.
