Creamy Oatmeal - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 1/4 cups milk
3 cups quick oatmeal
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 dash salt
cinnamon, for spinkling
Preparation

Soak the oatmeal with 2 1/4 cups of the milk in a bowl.
In a saucepan, heat the remaining 3 cups of milk to almost boiling point.
Add the oatmeal mixture, the sugar, and the salt to the heated milk and stir well. Continue to stir the oatmeal until it is cooked and the mixture is thick (several minutes).
Pour into serving dishes and sprinkle with cinnamon while hot.
Makes 5 cups.
