Slow-Cooker Meatloaf Italian-Style - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 ounce) can pizza sauce (divided)
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/3 cup seasoned dry bread crumb
    1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper
    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Reserve 1/3 cup pizza sauce; cover and refrigerate.
    In a bowl, combine remaining pizza sauce with next 7 ingredients. Mix together well.
    Form meat mixture into loaf and place into crockpot. (place 3 intersecting strips of foil in the bottom of the slow-cooker to aid in removing the meatloaf later).
    Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hrs or on high for 4-6 hours (To ensure doneness, insert a meat thermo into centre of loaf; internal temp should read 170\u00b0F.).
    Spread loaf with reserved 1/3 cup pizza sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Cover and let cook for another 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
    Remove meatloaf to serving dish, slice, and enjoy!
