Blue-Cheese Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tablespoons butter
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 cup chili sauce
    3 tablespoons water
    1 1/2 lbs ground beef
    1/4 lb sweet Italian sausage
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon sage
    1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    1/4 teaspoon pepper
    2 cups dry breadcrumbs
    1 cup milk
    2 eggs, beaten
    3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
Preparation
    Heat the butter in a large skillet and add the onion and green pepper, saute' for 5 minutes.Add 1/4 cup of the chili sauce and water, cook for 4 minutes more.
    Pour the mixture into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Mix the remaining 1/4 cup chili sauce with the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl.
    Mix well and add into the loaf pan on top of the onion and green pepper.Bake in a preheated oven @375 for about 1 1/2 hours.
