Jellies (Candy) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 ounce gelatin
8 tablespoons water
1 lb sugar
flavoring
food coloring
icing sugar
Preparation

Soak gelatine in half the water, place the rest of water and the sugar into a saucepan and bring to boil, add gelatine and allow to simmer gently for 20 minutes, pour into wet plates, adding flavouring and colour, allow to set, then cut into squares and roll in icing sugar.
