Rye Whiskey Weiners - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb cocktail franks, some you may want to cut in half
1/2 cup rye whiskey (you can use Jack Daniels but not as good for this recipe)
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce (Denzel, Pepri-Peri, Tabasco, mare depending on your taste)
Preparation

Mix together the ketchup, brown sugar& hot sauce, heat to simmer add rye& weiners simmer for 30 minutes.
Serve on toothpicks.
These can be frozen.
