Pasta Shells With Light Marinara Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 1/2 lbs tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh basil
8 ounces pasta shells
Preparation

Heat oil and saute onion and garlic. Add tomatoes and stir to combine. Cover and simmer, about 15 minutes.
Meanwhile cook pasta. Drain.
In food processor, puree tomato sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in basil. Toss with pasta.
