Fresh Pear Salsa - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 ripe pears
2 dried pear halves, finely chopped
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1/4 cup chopped of fresh mint or 1/4 cup cilantro
1 lime, zest and juice
1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
1 large jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon crushed red hot pepper
Preparation

Core pears and cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
In a medium bowl, gently toss cubed pears with chopped dried pears, red onion, mint, lime juice and zest, ginger, jalapeno pepper, salt and hot pepper until well mixed.
Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
