Best Cheesy Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 cup onion
    1/2 cup butter, melted
    2 lbs frozen hash brown potatoes
    2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
    2 cups sour cream
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (I like sharp the best)
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    breadcrumbs (optional)
Preparation
    Mix all together, put into 9x13inch pan, top with bread crumbs. Bake 45 min @ 350.
