Mom'S Hershey'S Bar Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 -9 ounces plain hershey chocolate candy bars
    1 cup margarine
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (sifted)
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 cup chopped nuts (your preference)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
    Grease and flour a tube pan.
    Melt Hershey bars.
    Dissolve soda in buttermilk. Set aside.
    Cream sugar and margarine. Add to melted candy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
    Add the 2 1/2 cups sifted flour alternately with the buttermilk/soda mixture.
    Add vanilla. Add nuts. Pour into floured pan.
    Use a toothpick to check for doneness.
    Cool thoroughly. (Do not invert pan).
