Picky Mike'S Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1 lb ground turkey or 1 lb ground chicken, browned (I prefer lean turkey)
    1/2 cup chopped onion, sauted with the meat
    2 (15 ounce) cans mixed vegetables (OR 1 can cut greenbeans with juice and 1 can whole kernel corn with juice)
    1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes (I prefer Hunt's with spices already in it for more flavor)
    1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce (I prefer Hunt's with spices already in it for more flavor)
    1/2 - 3/4 cup small elbow macaroni (or dice 1 extra large potatoe or 2 medium potatoes instead of noodles)
    3/4 cup water (I use one of the empty veg. cans)
    salt and pepper (I prefer the grinder kind of sea salt and black pepper or mixed pepper)
Preparation
    In a stew or dutch-oven pot, saute meat and chopped onions until brown.
    Pour off any grease (I use lean turkey, so I don't have extra grease).
    Add to browned meat& onions all of the remaining ingredients (the order doesn't matter).
    Stir and bring to boil, then turn down to medium-low or simmer and put lid on pot.
    Simmer 20 minutes or until noodles (or potatoes) are done.
    Stir occasionally to keep from sticking to bottom of pot.
