Mexican Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb brown sugar
    1/2 cup cream
    2 teaspoons butter
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups pecan halves
Preparation
    In large saucepan mix brown sugar, cream and butter.
    Bring to soft ball stage on thermometer.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Add pecans - stirring constantly.
    Drop immediately by teaspoon fulls on waxed paper.
    Let cool. Store in tightly covered container.
