Ingredients

1 1/2 cups green peas (11/2 lbs in pods)
1 cup shredded lettuce
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
3 medium green onions, sliced
1 dash pepper
Preparation

Heat all ingredients to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and cook about 8 minutes or until peas are tender.
