Buttermilk Chicken - Nigella Lawson - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 chicken drumsticks
    2 cups buttermilk
    1 tablespoon kosher salt
    1 tablespoon fresh coarse ground black pepper
    1 tablespoon maple syrup
    1 teaspoon ground cumin
    2 garlic cloves, smashed
    6 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients (use 4 tbsp oil) in a large ziptop bag. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
    Remove chicken from marinade and place in a roasting pan. Drizzle with remaining 2 tbsp oil. Roast in a preheated 425F oven for 30 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
