Practical Joke T.P. Fondant April Fool'S Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
1 sheet roll-out fondant (can be found in most craft or specialty shops)
    1 roll toilet paper
decorators' frosting (like the tube kind at craft stores)
grosgrain ribbon (and or or other decorations)
Preparation
That individually-wrapped toilet paper rolls like you find in hotels is really the best for this-- soft toilet paper doesn't hold up as well. But soft will do in a pinch, just work with what you can find.
Fold down the fondant sheet over the roll of toilet paper evenly, carefully trimming the bottom edges and smoothing it down so it looks like one of those small fancy cakes sold at specialty shops.
Hence, putting a large grosgrain ribbon around the bottom works to make it look the part. ;).
Decorate the top with decorator frosting and gel (the tube kind -- it's okay, this thing's inedible anyway!), like little swirls around the edges similar to Carvel cakes, gel writing, etc.
For obvious reasons, I wouldn't recommend using short birthday candles.
But just make the cake look convincing enough -- then wait until your victim cuts into it.
