Squash Casserole With Pimento - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter
1 cup milk
1 cup dry breadcrumbs
2 cups cooked squash, mashed
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 teaspoon salt
fresh ground pepper
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttered bread crumb, for topping
1 tablespoon minced pimentos
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350.
Melt butter in hot milk and pour over the bread crumbs. Mix well and add squash, onion, pimento and seasonings.
Beat eggs and add to squash mixture.
Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole and cover with buttered bread crumbs.
Bake 20 to 30 minutes.
