Rice With Broccoli And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

2 1/2 cups chicken stock
1 cup long-grain rice
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 lb fresh broccoli, coarsely chopped
3 tomatoes, chopped
ground black pepper, to taste
Preparation

In a saucepan, bring the stock to a boil.
Stir in the rice, butter, salt, onion and broccoli.
Reduce the heat to medium and cook until the stock is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
Stir in the tomatoes and pepper to taste.
