All-In-One Pot Saucy Pasta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    3 1/2 cups water
    1 (680 ml) jar of your favourite pasta sauce
    3 cups uncooked pasta (the original recipe calls for rotini)
    1 cup sliced mushrooms
    1 cup shredded cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in large frying pan.
    Add water, pasta sauce, and pasta.
    Bring to a boil and cover.
    Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add mushrooms and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
    Stir in cheese.
