Spiced Cherry Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 ounce) bag frozen pitted tart cherries, thawed
    1 cup light corn syrup
    1/3 cup water
    1/2 cup sugar
    3 tablespoons lemon juice
    1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
    1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
    1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 dash salt
Preparation
    Except for the cherries, combine all ingredients in a saucepan & bring to boil.
    Reduce heat & simmer 15 minutes, stirring frequently.
    Remove from heat & stir in cherries.
    Cool before serving.
