New Year'S Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    VEGETABLES
    1 (16 ounce) can French style green beans, drained
    1 (8 ounce) can black-eyed peas, drained (reserve liquid)
    1 red onion, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
    1 cup celery, chopped
    1 (4 ounce) jar pimientos, drained and diced
    DRESSING
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 pinch salt
Preparation
    Mix vegetables together in Corningware container.
    Add the dressing ingredients to the reserved black-eyed pea liquid; mix well making sure the sugar dissolves.
    Pour the dressing over the vegetables and stir.
    Cover and refrigerate at least 12 hours before serving.
