Shadows Lentil Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 cups dried lentils
    5 slices bacon, finely chopped
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    1 cup diced carrot
    1/2 garlic clove, finely chopped
    2 cups raw diced potatoes
    1/2 cup tomato puree
    1 lb Polish sausage
    2 bay leaves
    6 cups cold water
    4 cups beef stock
    1 tablespoon salt
    2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
    1 cup leek, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Saute bacon, celery, carrots, potatoes.
    add the rest of the ingredients, and simmer until lentils are tender and vegetables are to desired doneness.
