Fat Free Italian Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1 cup cold water
    1/3 cup wine vinegar
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
    1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    1 garlic clove, minced (or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder)
Preparation
    Mix the cornstarch and water together in a small saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over high heat until it begins to thicken and is clear. (It will thicken even more once it is cool.).
    Combine all the ingredients, including the cornstarch mixture, in a jar with a lid. Cover and shake to mix thoroughly.
    Let stand for at least 2 hours to blend flavors. Shake well before using. Store at room temperature.
