5 tablespoons flour
1 cup milk
1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, well drained in sieve
Preparation

Stir flour and milk over heat until thick put aside to cool.
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Beat cooled milk into creamed mixture at high speed until light.
It should resemble whipped cream. Mix one cup of topping with.
pineapple and spread between cake layers. Spread remaining.
