1 large potato
2 cups buttermilk
2 cups flour
3 tablespoons black pepper
canola oil
salt
Preparation

Scrub to clean the skin nof a large Idaho potato; do not peel.
Slice into large fries.
Place into bowl filled with buttermilk.
Toss a few slices at a time in flour mixed with the black pepper.
Fry in hot canola oil 2-to-3 minutes or until golden brown and crunchy on the outside.
