Burmese Chin Hin Sour Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 teaspoons oil
    1 onion, finely sliced
    2 garlic cloves, smashed
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    3 green tomatoes, chopped
    2 ounces spinach, torn
    4 cups fish stock
    salt
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Heat oil in saucepan and quickly saute onion, garlic and turmeric.
    Add tomatoes and spinach. Stir well and add stock.
    Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook until vegetables are tender. Salt to taste.
    Add rice to bottom of soup bowl and ladle soup over rice. Serve.
