" Home-Churned" Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lbs butter
    1/2 tablespoon salt
    2 cups buttermilk
Preparation
    Allow 2 1/2 lbs. butter to come to room temperature for about 1-2 hours.
    Beat with electric mixer, adding 1/2 T. salt, 2 cups buttermilk until light and fluffy.
    Keep refrigerated in a covered container.
