Caramel Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    Dumplings
    1 1/4 cups self raising flour
    1 pinch salt
    30 g butter
    1/3 cup sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla essence
    1/3 cup milk
    Sauce
    30 g butter
    1 1/2 cups brown sugar
    1 pinch salt
    1 1/2 cups water
Preparation
    Rub white sugar and butter together.
    Add flour, salt, vanilla and milk and mix through until it's a doughy consistency.
    In a saucepan, melt the butter.
    Add brown sugar, salt and water.
    Bring to boil and ensure all the sugar is melted.
    Drop tablespoonfulls of the dough mixture into the sauce.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
