Buttered Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 ounces winter squash
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1 teaspoon butter
    1 dash salt
Preparation
    Peel squash and cut into bite sized pieces.
    Place pieces with sugar and add water to cover. Cook until nearly fork tender, add butter and continue cooking over medium heat.
    When the squash becomes tender and the moisture has almost gone, remove from heat.
