Basic Beer Batter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic salt
3/4 cup flat beer
2 eggs, lightly beaten
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation

Combine all dry ingredients.
Add liquid ingredients and mix well.
Allow batter to chill in refrigerator for a least 1 hour before using.
Dip food in batter and place into hot oil.
