Smoked Sausage And Sauerkraut - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (1 lb) package smoked sausage
1 (1 lb) package sauerkraut
1 (32 ounce) bottle V8 vegetable juice
Preparation

Drain sauerkraut in a colander. Sit under running water for a few minutes to thoroughly rinse the brine.
Place sauerkraut in shallow pan. Cut sausage in serving size pieces. Cut lengthwise almost in half and arrange on sauerkraut.
Pour bottle of V-8 over all and simmer to blend flavors and heat sausage.
Serve with mashed or fried potatoes. Yum!
