White Queso Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 cup onion, chopped fine
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons vegetable oil
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon cumin
8 ounces green chilies, chopped
1 jalapeno, chopped fine
8 ounces monterey cheese, shredded
Preparation

Saute onion and garlic in oil until onions are tender and set aside.
Melt butter and add flour. Cook one minute, stirring constantly.
Add milk and continue cooking for 5-10 minutes and is begining to thicken.
Add cumin, drain and add chilies, and add jalapeno. Mix until blended.
Season with salt and pepper.
Remove from heat and slowly add cheese.
Serve hot with corn chips.
