Bayou Turkey Burger - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb ground turkey
2 scallions, thinly sliced
1 red bell pepper, stemmed, seeded, and finely chopped
1 teaspoon garlic, finely minced
2 tablespoons cilantro, fresh and chopped
1/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
crushed red pepper flakes, to taste
salt
pepper
4 hamburger buns, toasted
Preparation

Prepare a barbecue grill or preheat the broiler.
Place the turkey in a bowl and mix it well with the scallions, bell pepper, garlic, cilantro, thyme, cumin, paprika, and red pepper flakes.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Gently form the mixture into 4 patties.
Grill or broil the burgers until cooked through - 5 -6 minutes per side.
Serve immediately on the toasted buns.
