Butterscotch Rum Sauce - cooking recipe

1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2/3 cup white corn syrup
1/4 cup half-and-half
1/4 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon rum extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients in med heavy saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce to low and cook 20 minutes.
Add rum and vanilla.
