Slow Cooker Hawaiian Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
    1 (15 ounce) can pineapple slices (with juice)
    1/3 cup brown sugar (packed)
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1/4 teaspoon ginger (ground)
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    salt
    cooked rice (to serve with)
Preparation
    place chicken breasts in slow cooker, sprinkle with a little salt.
    place pineapple slices over chicken.
    combine pineapple juice, brown sugar, lemon juice, ginger, and cornstarch, stir until cornstarch mixes with liquids, pour over chicken.
    cover, cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2 1/2-3 hours.
