Party Potatoes By Auntie Elaine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 -12 potatoes, about one potato per serving
    8 ounces cream cheese
    12 ounces sour cream
    1 tablespoon parsley flakes
    1 teaspoon garlic salt
    salt and pepper
    Optional
    finely minced chives (scallion tops) or green onion top (scallion tops)
Preparation
    Peel and cut potatoes.
    Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, 15 -20 minutes.
    Drain potatoes and return to pan.
    Combine all ingredients and mash together until smooth.
    Place mashed potatoes into a greased 13 x 9 pan.
    Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes at 350°F.
    Can be made ahead, refrigerated, and then baked, but add 10 minutes to the baking time.
