Ingredients

1/2 cup onion
3 garlic cloves (chopped)
1 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 quarts tomato juice
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash pepper
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons cornstarch (optional)
Preparation

Brown onions in oil, add garlic when onions first start to brown.
Once onions brown add the rest of the ingredients.
Cook down until sauce thickens. If you don't have time to cook it down until it thickens then cook it for 30 minutes and then add cornstarch to thicken.
